With Everyday treasures exhibition I plunged into the exploration of the small and big joys in life through painting. I wanted to focus on the little things, like sitting down with my afternoon coffee like it was an old friend, or the importance of a casual endearment from my loved one while emptying the dishwasher, or the memory of my grandmother's hug that awakens so strongly when I smell or taste black currant juice.
